Dr. Kleeman is known internationally for his pioneering work on laparoscopic spine surgery.
He has developed a procedure for the treatment of Spinal Stenosis called "the port-hole technique."

Presently Dr. Kleeman is involved in developing the use of surgical navigation in minimally
invasive spine surgery.
